Arguments FOR FE rather than AGAINST RE.
« on: June 17, 2009, 07:27:25 AM »
Ok.  My other topics are being trashed by Reverend Tom and Overlord Raist (and his mom).  So, I'll try another line of questioning.  Tom, the subject is what it is, Sport.  You can create your very own topic about your favorite YouTube video elsewhere.  Fair enough?

All over this site, we see FE'ers trying to cast doubt onto Round Earth science.  Some say they are doing a fine job, others say they are ignorant liars who have no facts to show.  Regardless of who's right, there is nothing coming from those fights.

This thread is to ask the FE'er who wishes for a "fair" debate what reasons they have to think the Earth is flat.  That means you don't answer with "because NASA is a conspiracy."  You answer with something like "it looks flat to me."

I'd like to list the top ten reasons that FE'ers think the Earth is flat in this first post as they come to light in this thread.  I'm going to divide the results into scientifically proven fact and opinions.

To all FE'ers:  Please give your VERY BEST reason why you think the Earth is flat ONLY.  Don't offer something and then say "there is better evidence."  Give your best first.

Remember, Tom.  It's not about how RE is wrong.  It's about how FE is right.  Going off topic in the third post doesn't count as "naturally progressed to this point" or whatever crap you claimed while trashing my other threads.

Raist, I think you and your mother can see that this topic is following the "rules" of the site and shouldn't be shunted to your private little gulag.

All the sensory evidence I have ever experienced indicate to me that the earth is probably flat.

I'll start by playing retard's advocate.  EDIT:  NEEMAN beat me to it. :)

I think the Earth is flat because it appears flat to me.

Posting multiple reasons is ok, but we will count each one separately.  Also, this thread is about debating WHAT the reasons are and NOT if they are valid or not.  I will not dispute anything claimed by an FE'er in here as to their reasons for thinking the Earth is flat.

Remember, Tom.  Going off topic proves you are nothing but a Troll.

All the sensory evidence I have ever experienced indicate to me that the earth is probably flat.
Excellent!  Thank you NEEMAN.  That is perfect.

Just in case you think otherwise, it's obvious that this is a setup topic. I only replied because we've seen setups along these lines before.

I swear to you that I am not setting anyone up (if that's what you mean).  I honestly want to list the most popular reasons.

NEEMAN, do you agree with how I listed your item?  I want to be sure and word is as completely and accurately as possible.  Anyone else think it should be worded differently?

Since attractive gravity does not exist, and the space-time continuum is just a fairy-tale, the only alternative we have left is a pressure type of gravity, caused by the aether. To hold 1000 billion trillion liters of water "glued" to the surface, it does and would require that the shape of this surface be flat.

It should be worded exactly as I worded it, because I mean exactly that, and nothing else. To say it 'appears' flat is to indicate that only one of my senses indicates that it is flat, namely sight. Now, I'm not saying it tastes flat or smells flat, but there are times situations when I experience feelings that match what I would expect to feel if the earth were flat.

WOW!  It's no record, but this topic has already been taken off-topic by levee, so I've locked it pending action from the "moderator."  I doubt they will do anything about it, but we'll see.

If you have something to post here, by all means send it to me directly and I'll post it verbatim.
