Well at least it seems that you have some taste of humor. :)
But I still feel it rather hard to believe that you people are serious with this "our earth is being a somewhat flattish" or something similar thingie.

Ask your English teacher if the earth is flat.  If he/she says it's round, your school has been compromised by the conspiracy.
I'm sorry. Am I to understand that when you have a boner you like to imagine punching the shit out of Tom Bishop? That's disgusting.

Well sorry, but I can't ask anything from her because I don't have an English teacher. And oh, my mother tongue is Finnish so don't mind about my typing errors.

But no more that chit chat, now when you have proven I'm wrong. Could someone please prove me that earth is flat. I mean, I want to believe in something lol.

I have to admit that I just got little bored and I'm not finding this anymore that amusing. But with your little free time (gotta be little when you're battling against these conspiracies of this day), could you really honestly tell me. Do you people here really believe that earth is flat, or is this just a big place designed for attracting trolls? And how come?

Or is this forum itself a troll?

I commend you; those are the only questions worth asking around here.

Of course, you still won't get a straight answer. Sorry.

So now I have three possible theories.

1. This forum is a troll.
2. This forum is for stupid people.
3. Both two.

Oh and.

4. Earth is not fooking flat.

Impressive. It usually takes longer for noobs to get this far.

(I'll give you a hint: it's the third one)

I'll give you more than a hint- maybe because something about you seems so fresh and original (the not annoyingness I guess).

- 99% of FE'ers do not believe the Earth is flat.
- Of the 99%, maybe 10% aren't sure, but still believe it is round.  The other 90%, believe 100% that Earth is round.
- 1% of FE'ers do correctly believe the Earth is flat.

Now, the 99% group is a little brighter, and more well argued than the 1% group.  And the entire 100% is brighter, and more well argued than the RE'ers (because really, who comes on the FES forums to try to prove that the world is round?)

However, I must admit that I am firmly in the category I am slighting.  I am bright enough to see this forum for what it is, however, that does not mean the Earth is round.  A fool may quote Shakespeare, but he is still a fool, and nor should it diminish Shakespeare.

The Earth is, indeed, quite flat.  And please don't take the conspiracy nonsense too far.  The reality is that it doesn't matter to most peoples lives that the Earth is flat (your round map will work pretty much the same as my flat one, although I can probably navigate a little quicker than you can)

If you want proof please see Earth Not a Globe, and/or observe the Earth in all of its flat beauty firsthand.  Try as you might, you will not measure a curvature, for she is flat.

And why am I posting here? I don't know. Maybe I'm bored.

"It seems to me that everyone on there (even the veterans) started out posting with the same confusion as we have, asking the same questions etc. Just that after realising that no one really believes in a flat earth, they've joined in with the little game as it were. Some people must have way too much time on their hands I guess."
