The majority of this information is faked, and quite possibly, set in motion by the Christian church to ground Scientology before it becomes powerful. I would not trust information from government records, as many government records are decoys (such as those documenting space missions).
Wow, you are either a bad troll, or a Scientologist plant. ::)

Anything is possible. Anyone who believes the Earth is flat should be ready to believe that.
You are letting too much true ignorance slip through to be a good troll. Know thy subject child. Posting on this site in any serious manner is being trolled. A troll fails the second they are trolled. I'm not even a troll. Or am I? I forget. Maybe I'm just a spammer. Any who. die.

I'd be more than happy to answer anything that you need cleared up, if it's presented in the form of a coherent question.

I don't really the threat from Scientology as very significant or important in the scheme of things, compared to other social issues the problem of the church seems rather benign, and that there are probably more worthwhile things to protest over. Maybe this is what attracts protestors, that there is a possibility of stopping a potentially larger problem before it occurs (Scientology gaining ground in the mainstream?). In any case, perhaps some of these protestors should consider the threat of being unemployed, which can lead to even graver situations (such as being poor) and put their protest off a while to get some jobs.

Remember kids, wasting time is (among) the worst crimes one can commit.

Lol. I don't think one protest a month will get in the way of anyones job. ::)

And even if Scientology isn't the most worthwhile thing to protest, that doesn't necessarily mean it shouldn't be protested. Any group can protest Tibet, the war in Iraq, Darfur, ect. But the nature of Anonymous makes it perfectly suited for protesting against the CoS, because they are almost immune to the tactics that the Church usually uses to silence it's critics. This is the cause we have chosen. We think it's worthwhile. Those who's lives have been destroyed by this dangerous cult think it's worthwhile. Wise Beard Man thinks it's worthwhile. We believe in the cause, and we are going to keep protesting until we put an end to the human rights abuses that the CoS has been getting away with for decades.

I am not Anon. I have only started associating with them since they started protesting Scientology, and that is still pretty much the only reason why I associate with them.

I've just started going to the chans, they have some benefits along with many downsides. Oh, and btw, I've never see so many people on this board get trolled in one thread. Even I couldn't help from getting in on that one, but damn they did a good job.

I agree. The two are not the same entity, but are comprised of both.

I am and always will be a /b/tard and have been since the dawn of 4chan. I am part of Anon, I've had my share of raids and whatnot and I fully support this crusade against the cult.

And yes, the chans do have their upsides still. And you don't have to go to a chan to be Anon.

Epic interview with former Scientologist.

It's about an hour long, but he talks about a lot of interesting stuff.

I didn't say you did. But I only heard about them when I finally went to a chan and stayed for a while. Funny thing is, I have hundreds of posts on chans now, and not once have i been called a newfag....

Larry Brennan, a former member of OSA(Office of Special Affairs - basically the CoS equivalent of the CIA), filed an Affidavit regarding the illegal activities that he witnessed or participated in while working for the cult. He is sending it to a few different branches of the US government, and to the governments of a few other countries.

http://crackpotpress.com/crackpot/images/stories/pdf/crs.pdf

Long Affidavit is long, but it is a good read. I was hesitant to believe it at first because it came from a questionable source, and it made some really heavy claims. But it was confirmed to be legitimate later that day, and then today Glosslip had an interview with the guy who wrote it:
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/stations/bc/glosslip/2008/05/12/Glosslip-From-Our-Lips-To-Your-Ears

There has been so much happening in such a short amount of time. Anonymous is putting the CoS in the spotlight. They have given many former members the courage to speak out, they have opened the eyes of many current members, and they have prevented many more from joining the church. The church is feeling the pressure, and they are slowly but surely collapsing under the weight of their own lies.
