On these forums I keep hearing that there is 'endless research' which has proven that the earth is a globe. I'm constantly told that there's no point in continuing the flat-round debate because the subject matter has already been proven. Nearly every single breathing person I've talked to on the topic has informed me that there are 'centuries of studies' which demonstrate that the earth is a globe.
However, while I have found many studies which have proven the earth to be flat (see the link in my signature), I don't recall coming across even a single study which has proven the earth to be round.
This thread isn't about debating the validity of the Flat Earth model. Save that for another thread. This thread is for cataloging the Round Earth research studies, if any exist at all.
Please link to a single scientific paper which has proven through experiment that the earth is a globe. If the earth truly is a globe, then there should be at least one study demonstrating this.
If it's truly such a scientific fact that the earth is a globe, and if much of science is founded on the study of the earth, then there should be a great number of published studies attesting to the earth's rotundity. Please post one single study written at any point throughout the history of time. Surely if the earth were a globe there should be a single scientific study demonstrating so.
