He has ignored all of my requests to demonstrate his pilot skills.

But he just might use his magic skills to make this post disappear.

i bet he used his magic skills to give him pilot skillz and then gave himself "make you forget that he has any pilot skills" skills so you can forget he has magic pilot skills and end up making a post like this giving him the perfect scenario to show you his penis.

If you believe him you are foolish. If he was a pilot he would have agreed to answer 3 simple pilot questions. I've already sent Gulliver the 3 questions in advance and he agrees they are fair.

Untrue.

You sent someone who is biased, the three questions? Very fair indeed.

Who cares whether The Engineer is a pilot or not? For all you know I could be a 12 year old with no physics knowledge beyond 7th grade, and so is he.

What he could show is if he is able to understand and use the scientific method and go beyond discussions on definitions and other word games.

As a pilot, The Engineer must use exact calculations to plot his course and calculate fuel requirements, so he is not unfamiliar with the formulas used for this, so he could tell us all whether those formulas imply a flat earth or a spherical one, but that would spoil the fun for him.

If he thought going along with your game and answering your questions would be pointless, he probably wouldn't agree to answer them.  But he may be here to give his own reasoning some time.

Have you heard the joke "How do you know if their is a pilot at your party? He will tell you."

I've already sent Gulliver the 3 questions in advance and he agrees they are fair.

I don't see how it's unfair. It proves that I didn't change or modify the questions.
Your still annoying and TheEngineer is still not a pilot.

No but since I say you CAN see the curvature of the earth from above 6,000 feet and he says you can't. I am more reliable than he is.

Why does being a pilot matter to that arguement? As if most of us have never been cruising above 30,000 feet? Wouldn't that make us better judges than your 6,000 foot experiment? Even more because we dont have a giant terminal that requires our constant attention and also blocks our view.

Because god says pilots go in the air sometimes.

1) Autopilot.
2) I'm pretty sure the goal of an instruments panel is to NOT block your view outside.

putting your elitism aside, are you just dismissing that I have not seen the curveature from 32,000 feet? I realize that your 9,000 feet is still pretty high, in fact thats twice as high as me right now just sitting in my chair.

Wow, well if Gulliver is on-board, I guess I have NO CHOICE but to believe everything you say! ::)

Fact of the matter is that TheEngineer has a far better reputation on here than either of you two fools, and nobody's going to believe you, so it's rather pointless. On a sidenote, how much you want to bet this whole incident is because TheEngineer wasn't on his computer a couple hours after he was sent a PM?

You say he has more credibility than me even though he has yet to prove he is a pilot, while I have.

Interesting

How have you proven anything in this thread? ::) You just said, "ENGINEER ISN'T A PILOT! I TOLD MY FRIEND AND HE SAID IT'S TRUE!" And then failed to provide any more information on the actual veracity of anything you've said.

Why is there even an argument? You can see a clear curvature from the air. Welcome to reality.
